I watched Lost Highway (I know it's not a horror film) for the third time last night and I still don't fully understand it. All I do know is Patricia Arquette was fine as hell in that movie and still is.

yeah patricia arquette was super hot in the movie. i read it was supposed to be that when bill pullmen was put in jail he imagined everything after that. its kinda like that twilight zone called incident at old creek bridge (i dont think thats the actual title but its close), the one where the dude is about to hang and then he imagines he gets away and such but at the last second he gets hung and we realize it was all in his head. at the end of lost highway all that lightning i guess is supposed to represent him getting eletrocuted in reality. thats just ones synopsis i read

Yeah, I read that on wikipedia. There's different interpretations though. There's still so many weird things that happen, like the man that only Pullman can see and Pullman saying "Dick Laurent is dead" into the intercom of his house. That scene makes the story seem like it's in a cycle. And you never find out what the man whispers in Pullman's ear and you never find out what happened to Pete that one night and why his parents won't tell him about it. So many things are up for interpretation in that movie. But the most important line is "I like to remember things my own way."

I didn't mind it. I get off on people's utmost selfless/romantic efforts being totally in vain.

Other than the classics, I'll go with Behind the Mask and Hatchet. I recently saw the Ruins, and it was actually pretty sweet. Dawn of the Dead remake is win. the final destination series is fun as fuck, even though it sucks pretty hard. 28 days and weeks later are both awesome.
