Emeth - New guitarist & Album announcement

Back from Canada
We just got home from our first Canadian tour a couple of days ago. Almost every single show was a complete blast! We hadn't toured home in while and we'd like to thank everyone that showed up for making this a memorable experience.

New Guitarist announced
We'd like to introduce our new guitarist; Valéry Bottin (Mystica, In-quest). Val learned all songs swiftly and played the songs perfectly!! But most of all, he's an awesome dude and we're glad to have him as a guitarist and as a friend. He joined us on our recent Canadian tour and proved to us and to the rest of the crowd that he's the perfect guy for the band. Come and check him out at our upcoming shows and you'll be able to hear his skills on our forthcoming album.

New Album
Speaking of new material, we have been very busy lately writing the new record! We have eight songs done so far and a few more in the works. We plan to enter the studio at the beginning of september 2007. This new album, slanted for release early next year, will feature the next step in the band’s musical evolution and emphazises more on polarizing dynamics, twisted melodies and crushing rhythms compared to the previous albums... More news will follow in due time.

Belgian extremest deathsters Emeth have nearly completed writing and arranging material for their 3rd full album and are preparing to enter the studio.

"The band is stoked to announce the fact that they will soon enter the Hertz Studio in Bialystok, Poland with the Wieslawscy brother's as producers (Vader, Decapitated, Kronos,...) to record the follow-up to it’s highly acclaimed predecessor "Reticulated".

The recordings will start on September 12th. Mixing and mastering is scheduled during late October, aiming for an early 2008 Brutal Bands Release.

Currently the band is in the last stage of an elaborte proces of songwriting and pre-production recordings in order to finalize this new slab of modern extremity. It will feature the most mature and ambitious material from the band thus far, demonstrating a great step forward in terms of composition and arrangements.

Recently added second guitarplayer Valéry Bottin will make his recording appearance and Blood Red Throne (ex-Vile) bassist Erlend Caspersen is recruited to play bass. His creative and non-standard approach to the instrument will add many depth and dynamics to the album.

Due to the Wieslawscy brother's trademark of very big, massive and modern mixings the new Emeth album will display a more diverse and intense sound which should attract both old and new fans as well. Look out for this record!"

Emeth's previous album, "Reticulated", was released in April 2006 via Brutal Bands. It was engineered, mixed and mastered by Daniel Bergstrand at DUG OUT studios. The band has a great deal of touring experience, including 2 U.S. tours, 1 Canadian tour and many festivals in several continents. And played in support of their previous releases alongside Dismember, Avulsed, Aborted, Immolation, Leng Tche, Fuck The Facts, Origin, Incantation, Krisiun,…

ok peeps,

a small studio update. Drums are done, almost finished all guitars & vocals. Some extra stuff to be added after that. In about a weeks or so we'll start mixing. So far it all sound pretty phat and massive.
You can expect 11 songs of furious and f*ckin heavy modern sounding extreme metal.

Emeth announces title new album: TELESIS

The most notorious pack of degenerates from Belgium Emeth, which features in its ranks ex-Aborted guitarist Matty Dupont and Blood Red Throne bassist Erlend Caspersen, has set "Telesis" as the title of its highly anticipated third album, due early 2008 via Brutal Bands. The band recently finished recording their new album at Hertz Studios with the Wieslawscy brother's as producers and is currently mixing eleven tracks for this new effort.

It features the following track listing:
1. Silence Goes Unheard
2. Anochi Kofer
3. Telesis
4. SoulStorming Echoes
5. Folly and Weakness
6. Monolith
7. Existence Beyond Being

Emeth is know as a band which has its roots in death metal, but at the same time, as one that has never been afraid to experiment. This third opus shows the band progressing into a heavier, tighter and more technically advanced direction with memorable and inventive song structures and a natural yet modern production.
